This PWPRO PRO-2.6 RO System has been designed with window cleaners and car detailers / valeters in mind but would be suitable for anyone requiring ultra pure water production. The system is a complete system, ready to be attached to a standard mains water supply**. What is reverse osmosis?

To briefly explain the premise of reverse osmosis water treatment, for those that are unfamiliar… this is a form of water treatment that removes over 99% of the contaminants and impurities that you find in the water that comes from your tap. A semi-permeable membrane is used to achieve this, through which water is forced under pressure. Ultra pure water (membrane permeate) is separated from contaminated water (concentrate) at a variable ratio dependent on your requirements and system tuning.

Why would you require reverse osmosis? 

Ultra pure (RO) water is necessary for many cleaning applications. It is both an active cleaning agent due to it’s new chemical state, and also a residue free rinse agent due to it’s significantly reduced mineral content. This makes the cleaning of glass and other high gloss surfaces simple and effective. Usually, this RO would be connected to a deionising resin vessel for 100% mineral removal and a completely spotless finish.
